The Monroe Township Fire Department

is always looking for new members to join the team of volunteer members that it currently has. If you are interested in joining please contact that fire station at (815) 393-4222 and fill out the application that is provided on the web site (below). Upon calling, request to speak with Chief Jaeger.

Monday night is the training night for the department and also the best time to reach somebody at the station. If nobody answers when you call there is an answering machine that will allow you to leave your name and number, and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

If you prefer, you may stop by in person and ask any questions you might have. Any members that are present when you stop will try their best to field your questions to their best ability.
